5-day tour in the Chegaga desert from Agadir
Day 1: Agadir / Foum Zguid:
Departure from Agadir towards Tata at 80 km. We start by visiting Taroudant, exploring the souk, the medina, the ramparts, ... Then we continue to Tiout, 30 km from Taroudant, for lunch at the kasbah. After that, we visit the famous palm grove on foot or on a donkey with the villagers. Then, we head south to Igherm, then Foum Zguid for check-in and dinner at the hotel.
Day 2: Foum Zguid / M'Hamid:
Early departure for a long stage through the desert, where the landscape leaves even the most knowledgeable in awe, interspersed with oases to quench your thirst. Arrival in M'hamid, the gateway to the desert, where the road and civilization give way to nature. Tonight, you will be served by the blue men of the desert, dance to the sound of the drum, and sleep under a tent or under the stars.
Day 3: M'Hamid - Ouarzazate:
This stage will allow you to appreciate and discover the landscapes of the superb Draa Valley. You will visit Zagora and its surroundings by following the Draa Valley and its lush palm grove to Agdz. The driver will take you through the interior of the palm grove on a track. In Agdz, you will leave the Draa Valley to find rather rugged and arid mountain landscapes with canyons. Evening and night in a guesthouse in Ouarzazate or nearby.
Day 4: Ouarzazate - Marrakech:
An early departure will allow you to reach Marrakech in the morning. The afternoon will be dedicated to the discovery and visit of Marrakech: the Bahia Palace, the Badiaa Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and of course, the famous Jemaa el Fna square and the souks of the medina. Evening and night in a charming riad in the center of the medina.
Day 5: Marrakech - Agadir:
Free morning. In the afternoon, return to Agadir to your hotel for a well-deserved rest.
