DAY 1: AGADIR - TALIOUINE - ZAGORA
The first day will begin with a visit to some Berber villages as we depart from Agadir towards Zagora, passing through Tazenakht and Taliouine. Then, we'll have lunch en route to Taliouine, the saffron capital, before reaching Erg Lihoudi for a camel ride and an overnight stay in the desert at the luxury camp with private tents. We'll also enjoy local music played by the nomads around the campfire and marvel at the starry sky.
DAY 2: ZAGORA - OUARZAZATE - AGADIR
The next day, you'll leave Zagora heading towards Ouarzazate via Agdz. Ouarzazate, also known as the "gateway to the desert," is a city in southern Morocco. It is situated at the confluence of the Ouarzazate and Dadès river valleys (from the High Atlas), forming the Draa downstream from their confluence. Ouarzazate is renowned for its numerous kasbahs, mountains, valleys, oases, palm groves, and ochre villages that contribute to the charm of the region. After lunch in Ouarzazate, we'll visit the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou before heading back to Agadir via Taroudant. The return to Agadir is usually planned for late afternoon.
